TSC SCREEN AND MEDIA SHOWCASE
What is Screen and Media?
Thebarton Senior College offers a Certificate III in Screen and Media (CUA31020) with a special focus on pre-production art. We work closely with CDW Studios to prepare students to work effectively in the creative arts industry and produce work suitable for a portfolio that can assist them in further study or work applications.

The course content allows students to develop skills in the visual design process for screen, video games and other media in a simulated studio setting. Students produce designs for characters, costume, props, vehicles, and environments - both in 2D and 3D.
The College also offers additional SACE subjects to support students to develop their digital art skills.
For Year 10 and 11 students considering a career in entertainment design, we offer the Gateway 2 Screen and Media course which focuses on developing fundamental skills needed to continue this pathway. Students will also have opportunities to participate in CDW workshops and meet industry professionals.
For Year 12 students we offer a Stage 2 Entertainment Design subject and a new, unique offering with Extension Studies: Entertainment Design. In the Extension Studies class, students have the opportunity to complete two Flinders University topics and learn directly from industry professionals in a school setting.
